Setting up your own business is one of the most rewarding career paths you can choose. However, establishing and growing your business is very challenging and one of the major gaps for many Entrepreneurs is a supportive network of peers.
Established in 2006, the Kilkenny Business Club provides a supportive, relaxed and informal environment for owner-managers of local businesses to network with peers in order to :
- Build our networks and alliances with other businesses within the local community
- Share our resources and knowledge in a supportive and practical way
- Market our own businesses to a wider audience
- Get practical advice and solutions from our fellow members on the actual obstacles we face within our businesses
From the outset it was intended that the Business Club should provide a relaxed setting where members can share their challenges, and advice with other members.
The Club also provides members with a discreet and supportive environment in which to discuss business challenges & goals and seek advice from like-minded individuals.
The Kilkenny Business Club meets weekly for lunch in the Hotel Kilkenny to discuss pressing or topical matters which impact on business both locally and nationally. We also endeavour to have guest speakers at meetings who will talk on matters of interest.
